Police Crack Down on Liquor Sale to Minors
Several individuals were arrested for violations, including an employee at one of the city's municipal liquor stores.

Monday, May 14
- Police responded to the 7100 block of Cahill Road on a report of a stolen camera valued at $200.
- Police responded to the 7200 block of York Avenue South on a report of a stolen license plate valued at $25.

- Mark Owen McConville, 46, of Spring Park, was arrested for selling liquor to a minor after overseeing a transaction at the .
- Carrie Louise Thiele, 45, of Minneapolis, was arrested for selling liquor to a minor after overseeing a transaction at .
- Scott Callen Rifenberick, 45, of Burnsville, was arrested for selling liquor to a minor after overseeing a transaction at .
- Police responded to a classroom at on a report of a stolen laptop valued at $4,000.
- Codey Allen Kraft, 23, of Minneapolis, was arrested for selling liquor to a minor after overseeing a transaction at .
- Police responded to the parking lot on a report of a theft. An unknown person had broken into a parked vehicle and stolen a purse and its contents valued at $430.
- Veronica Abrego, 32, of Bloomington, was arrested for no insurance, driving after revocation and suspended license plates after her vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.
Wednesday, May 16
- Russell Robert Hyatt, 52, of Minneapolis, was arrested for 4th Degree DWI after officers responded to reports of Hyatt drinking alcohol in a vehicle near the 6700 block of York Avenue South.
- Police responded to the 5700 block of Kemrich Drive on a report of an order for a protection violation.
- Police responded to the 5200 block of Valley View Road on a report of one dog biting another dog.
- Marvin Anthony Windham, 19, of the 4200 block of Parklawn Avenue, and a 17-year-old juvenile male were both arrested for fleeing police. Officers were dispatched to assist Bloomington Police in locating suspects who fled from an accident. Windham and the teenage boy were located and subsequently arrested.
- Police responded to the 7300 block of Braemar Boulevard on a report of a stolen purse and its contents valued at $15.
