'Pride On TV' Trivia Coming To Wooden Hill Brewing Co. In Edina

EDINA, MN — A brewing company in Edina is set to host an LGBTQ-themed trivia contest in late June to celebrate Pride Month.

“Pride on TV Trivia” is scheduled to run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 28 at Wooden Hill Brewing Co., 7421 Bush Lake Road.

Up to six people can play together on a team at the trivia event, which requires players to use the Trivia Mafia app on their phone, organizers said.

“Pride on TV Trivia” tests players on their knowledge of LGBTQ TV creators, characters and actors, while it will also “pay tribute to the trailblazers that paved the way.”

“We’re witnessing a golden age of diverse queer representation today, but it didn’t happen overnight,” organizers said in a posting for the event.

Trivia Mafia is also hosting similar “Pride on TV Trivia” events throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul in the coming weeks.

Brothers Sean and James Ewen opened Wooden Hill Brewing Co. in March 2018 after transforming a “long-vacant” 9,000-square-foot warehouse in Edina into a craft brewery and taproom, according to the company’s website.
