Steve Slyce Named New Edina Rotary President

Slyce started his one-year term in July.

Steve Slyce, a manager at Peters Billiards and an Excelsior resident, was recently named president of the Edina Rotary after more than a decade of service.

“Belonging to Rotary enables me to help make a difference in both World Wide issues like eradicating Polio and the many at home issues like literacy and education," Slyce said in a statement. "Also, the many members that I have made lifelong friendships with are a very valuable part.”

Slyce, an Edina Rotarian since 2001, has chaired the service organization's annual fundraising event, its annual picnic and its Model UN and fun drive programs.
