Tell Your Mom You Love Her on Patch

Yes, that would be in the above photo—circa late 1980's—alongside the entire Gauthier family. And you had better believe I was sporting a Bucky Badger sweatshirt long before I even considered attending college at the University of Wisconsin.

But this post isn't about me. It's about that lovely lady standing behind my sister in this classic family photo: my mom.

Whether I was the needy second-grader playing with my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys, the surly high schooler who was too cool for her or the young adult preparing to get married (in about a month), my mom has always been there for me. And I'm willing to bet most of you out there would say the same about your own moms.

So instead of simply staring off and thinking of fun memories, I'm calling on the Edina Patch community to lend a hand to help celebrate our mothers together. It's your turn to take a few seconds to thank your mom and let her know how special she is to you.
