'The Self-Control to Say No': Edina Students Speak about DARE Program
Fifth-graders at Our Lady of Grace School in Edina recently graduated from the DARE program.

Fifth-graders at Our Lady of Grace School in Edina graduated from the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program recently.
The program, run by Edina police for the past several years, was covered by Edina Channel 16 in a clip viewable above or on YouTube.
Here's what some Edina students had to say about the program:
- "The D.A.R.E. decision-making process has been very helpful to me, and I know will be very important as I get older
- "You can use it in any stressful situation, including peer pressure."
- "I feel confident that I will have self-control to say, 'No,' if I ever feel uncomfortable or forced to do something."
