Halloween falls on Sunday this year, with holiday celebrations planned throughout the weekend in Edina. Forecasts for this weekend show there’s a good chance we're in for a treat when it comes to the weather.

A dry weekend is in store for Edina, with a high of 57 degrees and mostly sunny weather on Saturday, according to AccuWeather.

Sunday is set to be a bit cooler, with temperatures forecast to reach 45 degrees with partly sunny skies.

More than 40 Edina businesses and organizations are expected to participate Saturday afternoon in "Trick or Treat at 50th and France." The event runs from 1-4 p.m. Saturday.

Wooddale Church, 5532 Wooddale Ave., is set to host a trunk-or-treat event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Colonial Church, 6200 Colonial Way, is holding its trunk-or-treat event from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Sunday, with games, toys and candy for kids.
