(VIDEO) Edina's Class of 2012 by the Numbers
School officials and graduating seniors help describe what gives EHS such a special environment.
Edina's class of 2012 is one for the record books. They've , celebrated all night at the senior party and ended one chapter of their lives.
But before they bid farewell to , several seniors and school officials shot a video describing exactly what makes EHS such a special place. The video also includes a number of interesting statistics, including the following:
- 1 of every 2 seniors was an Edina Scholar.
- 156 students worked 18,700 hours of community service.
- 1 of every 4 seniors was an Edina Scholar Athlete.
- The class posted a cumulative GPA of 10.04 on a 12-point scale. That ranked them as one of the highest in Edina High School's lengthy history.
- The seniors also boasted the highest attendance rate in school history, with a 95.9 percent attendance rate cumulatively over the last three years.
