Election campaigns are beginning to heat up in Edina, with all three of our local legislative seats up for grabs this fall. <a href="http://melisafranzen.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Melisa Franzen (DFL)</a> recently made an appearance on local TV show "Democratic Visions" to discuss her campaign as well as issues cropping up in the local political scene. She is running against <a href="http://www.keithdowney.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Keith Downey (R)</a> to represent Senate District 49. "I've been watching what's been playing out in Minnesota politics for the last couple of years and ... thought this was the greatest time for me to jump in and do something about it," Franzen said during the interview. "I'm very concerned with where we're headed."
