(VIDEO) Mayor Hovland Bumps Volleyball for Edina
The mayor is featured in a video welcoming the 2014 USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships to the area.

With a big volleyball tournament coming to the Twin Cities area in 2014, Edina Mayor Jim Hovland is welcoming the event with open arms.
He's also using those arms for a solid bump as part of a Meet Minneapolis video. The video showcases a number of area mayors, each in full volleyball mode. Hovland even gets his game on at local landmark 50th & France.
The USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships is expected to generate $60 million in economic activity across the metropolitan area, and 13 cities—including Edina—have already pre-booked lodging for the event.
