(VIDEO) Rep. Downey Reflects on Legislative Session

Having just wrapped up his second term at the Minnesota Legislature, State Rep. Keith Downey (R-Edina) recently took part in a video recap of the 87th Legislative Session.

Seated at Edina's , Downey touches on the budget problems the state faced last year, the debate between cutting taxes and reducing spending, various reforms and efforts to help the state's business owners.

"Overall when you think about how tough our budget situation was, our ability to prioritize education, fund it adequately and attack some of the areas of reform that we need, I'd say overall it was a positive," Downey said.
