Wednesday, May 2

  • Police responded to the 3700 block of West 57th Street on a report of possible identity theft.

  • Police responded to the 4600 block of Browndale Avenue on a report of a burglary. An unknown suspect entered the victim's residence and stole an undetermined amount of property.
  • Police responded to the 5100 block of William on a report of harassing communications.
  • Police responded to the 4600 block of Arden Avenue on a report of suspicious activity.
  • Police responded to the 5200 block of Villa Way on a report of a lost box containing financial information.
  • Chautaux Starre McMullen, 39, of Minneapolis, was arrested for theft after allegedly stealing a purse from another customer at the Edina . The purse and its contents were valued at $769.

Friday, May 4

  • Police responded to the 5500 block of Hansen Road on a report of property damage to sod.
  • Police responded to the 7300 block of Metro Boulevard on a report of theft. A victim reported an unknown person taking her purse from her desk while she was at work. The purse was valued at $437.
