This was a multi-horse race  that saw all five contenders—, , , and the—finish within a couple votes of each other. The Shortstop finished the poll with 27 percent of all votes cast. 

At the Fridley Patch Facebook page, commenters had praise for Broadway Pizza, the Shorewood and Pickle Park. Fridley Mayor Scott Lund wrote, "So many great choices in our City!"
