• Police: Fridley man charged after12-mile, high-speed chase (hometownsource.com) — A Fridley resident has been charged in Anoka County after allegedly leading police on a 12-mile high-speed chase that reached speeds near 120 mph and ended in Elk River. Prosecutors say the 36-year-old faces felony fleeing and gross misdemeanor driving-after-cancellation charges, with a court hearing set for Dec. 29.
