Inver Grove Heights Man Faces Criminal Sexual Conduct Charges
Keith Edward Daddario is charged with having sex with a woman while she was passed out in his bedroom.

An Inver Grove Heights man has been charged with felony criminal sexual conduct after authorities say he had sex with a woman after she passed out drunk at his house, and took pictures of the sexual activity.
Keith Edward Daddario, 31, is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim was visiting the Twin Cities on May 13 and asked Daddario if she could stay at his house. He agreed. The victim arrived at his home around 9:30pm.

Daddario’s roommate was just leaving as the victim arrived, the complaint says. The victim told police that she takes anti-seizure medication and is supposed to avoid alcohol — which, she said, Daddario knew — but that he offered her a beer and kept refilling her glass until she had had had five or six drinks.
The victim said she felt drunk and passed out on Daddario’s couch, but that he woke her up and helped her upstairs to his bed. She said he left the room and closed the door.

While asleep, the victim remembered experiencing "flashes of light." Some time later, police say, the victim woke up naked and Daddario, also naked, was in bed beside her. Their clothes at the end of the bed, she told police.
The victim told police that she went into the bathroom to get dressed, and that “something told her” to find Daddario’s camera because of the flashes of light she remembered. She said she came out of the bathroom and saw the camera cord under the bed.
When Daddario asked if she was leaving without saying goodbye, the victim said, she knelt beside the bed and told him goodbye so he wouldn’t see her taking the camera.
After the victim left, she found photos on the camera of Daddario having sex with her while she was asleep, she told police. Shortly afterward, she said, Daddario texted her and asked if she had seen his camera.
Officers examined the photos on the camera and found 14 images that appeared to stem from the May 13 incident, the complaint says.
Officers arrested Daddario at his home last Wednesday. When he was questioned at the Inver Grove Heights police station, he told police that the victim had come to his home and that they had drunk beer together, but denied knowing that she was on anti-seizure medication.
Daddario told police the sex was voluntary and that she was awake the whole time, according to the complaint.
When officers asked Daddario why the victim “didn’t seem to be participating in any of the sex during the pictures, [Daddario] didn’t have an answer.” He also claimed that the victim had attempted to blackmail him with the photos, asking for $2,500 to $5,500 for them.
Daddario remains free on bond. He is scheduled for an omnibus hearing on the charges on Aug. 29 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings.
