• More Than 100 Acres Of Inver Grove Heights Parks To Be Restored With $922K In Grants (patch.com) — More than 100 acres of Inver Grove Heights parks and Mississippi Riverfront will soon undergo major ecological restoration, funded entirely by $922,108 in outside grants rather than local property taxes. Work at Seidl’s Lake, Harmon Park Reserve, Salem Hills, and several river greenway parks will remove invasive species, restore native habitat, and protect water quality through a long-running city–Dakota County partnership.
