Inver Grove Heights Week in Review Feb. 7 to Feb. 13
Patch looks back on the events, people and issues that made the headlines last week.

Last week got off to a harrowing start, after Inver Grove Heights police and fire crews evacuated dozens of residents from a burning Bridgewoods Apartment building on Monday afternoon. Fire officials ruled the cause of the fire was accidental. Only one unit in the complex was damaged by the blaze.
Simley High School students are delving into robotics as part of the school's Robotics Club. Students enrolled in the group have six weeks to build a robot worthy of competing against other schools in regional and national meets. This year, the team's creation must successfully lift several rubber inner tubes onto a rack in order to advance.
On Wednesday, Patch rolled out another new feature, Moms Talk. Every week, Patch will post a new question or discussion topic related to parenting or motherhood. Local moms are welcome to join in the discussion by posting comments on the story.

The second is a of master fishing rod craftsman Cedric Knuckey, who constructs all manner of fishing equipment at his workshop in Inver Grove.

On a final note, the Simley High School dance team learned they will advance to the state tournament, after a at sections in Albert Lea on Saturday. Congralutions to the dance team's hardworking members!
