Patch Picks: Five Super Bowl Hotspots

Jersey's Bar and Grill: $15 goes a long ways at Jersey's on Super Bowl Sunday. Purchase a $15 ticket in advance for a T-shirt, all-you-can-drink beer and a shot. If that wasn't enough to entice you, the bar is giving away $200 in prizes through a "Guess the Score" game. Simply go onto Jersey's Facebook page and post your score prediction. During halftime, the bar will have a free taco bar. After the game, revelers can celebrate their team's victory with karaoke.

Major's Sports Cafe: Not to be outdone, Major's Sports Cafe is hosting its own Super Bowl party on Sunday. The sports bar is offering $5 pizzas and buy-one-get-the-second-one-for-$1 beer deals. The bar will also have $2 16 oz. cans of Miller Geniune Draft 64, Budweiser and Bud Light for sale. Don't worry about getting there early to claim the good seats — the bar has a grand total of 23 TVs, including a monstrous 108-inch big screen, that will be tuned into the game on Sunday.

Drkulas: Where else in Inver Grove Heights can you go bowling and keep an eye on the Super Bowl at the same time? Drac's Pub has two 50-inch TVs so you won't miss any of the game's big moments or best commercials. The pub has Happy Hour deals from noon to 3pm on Sunday, and is also offering 20 oz. Miller Lites for $3 as its Super Bowl Sunday special. If you need a break during halftime, Drkulas also has pool tables, a jukebox and a full-service restaurant.

Buffalo wings, potato twisters, wonton tacos. Applebee's has a powerful line-up of appetizers, and all of them are half-price on Super Bowl Sunday from 2pm to midnight, when the restaurant closes. To wet your whistle, the restaurant is also offering $3 deals on domestic, 22-oz. beers, $3.50 specials on rail drinks and wine.
