Annie Morphew, Lakeville, is one of many students to receive scholarships from the University of Minnesota, Morris for the 2011–12 academic year. Morphew is the recipient of the John Q. Imholte Scholarship.
The John Q. Imholte Scholarship was established in 1990 on the occasion of Jack Imholte's retirement as UMM's chancellor after 21 years. He was a member of the original faculty when the Morris campus was established in 1960. The scholarship is awarded to students who have completed 60 credits of course work and have demonstrated outstanding academic ability.
Morphew, will graduate from Morris in 2012 with a major in history.
