Frontier Launches New Discount Program for Active Military and Reservists

Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR) recently introduced a new program that provides active members and reservists of the United States Armed Forces an additional discount on their Frontier bundled service offerings.  Service men and women under a price protection plan may save $5.00 on their double play bundle of services, or $10.00 on their triple play bundle of services. 

Customers that serve in the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard or National Guard (active and reserves) are eligible.  Moreover, discounts can be combined with some plan discounts that customers may already be receiving. 

“To show our appreciation to those who serve our nation and protect our freedoms, Frontier is instituting this additional discount,” stated Dahl, Frontier General Manager.  “Frontier has a proud history of supporting our military.  In November 2010, Frontier signed a priority hiring agreement with the Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces. Since launching that program, Frontier has hired 175 veterans and now employs company-wide approximately 1,500 veterans and reservists, representing 10% of our total workforce.”

Dahl added: “Frontier’s military priority hiring program has been a win-win, both for Frontier, and more importantly, for the many servicemen and women transitioning from America’s armed forces to the nation’s workforce. The additional discount for active military and reservists is one more way that we say thank you to our military personnel for their outstanding sacrifices.”
