Patch Picks: Five Places in Lakeville to Enjoy Super Bowl Sunday

Whether you're a Packers' fan living in Viking's Country, or you're a Vikes fan looking to root against your Wisconsin brethren, you may not know of a good place in town to catch the big game. Patch has you covered.

Starting this week, Lakeville Patch will run a new weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, and ways to spend a day off.

You’ll find interesting lists to help you, your family, friends and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids party places, parks and more. You may even find an entertaining list every now and then.

Places in Lakeville to Enjoy Super Bowl Sunday:

, located at 20685 Holyoke Ave. in downtown Lakeville, will have nearly every one of their massive projection, and 50-inch plasma televisions turned to the big game. They’re also offering $4 and $5 pitchers of beer to go with drink and food specials.

• , located at 18425 Orchard Trail, in the TimberCrest development near Interstate 35, is hosting a big party and will have drink and food specials, and everyone of their HD televisions, including six massive projection screens, showing the big game.

, located at 18404 Kenrick Avenue in Lakeville will be offering half-price appetizers and happy hour drinks from 2 p.m. till close. You can watch the game and cheer on, or root against your favorite team on one of their many flat-screen televisions.

• Brunswick Zone XL, located at 11129 162nd St. W., is offering 45-cent bowling games from kickoff till close. And even with that great deal, all of their flat-screen televisions will still be turned to the big game, so you can bowl and cheer on your team, all at once.

Lakeville Cinema, located at 20653 Keokuk Ave., has you covered if you’re just too depressed to watch the Packers play in the big game. The theater has 21 screens and a number of movies playing all day and night. Check out their website for show times and ticket prices.
