Outdoor Skating Rinks and Warming Houses

All 10 skating rink sites are now open. Warming houses are also open - they include Cherryview, Dakota Heights, Greenridge, Meadows, McGuire, Parkview, Prairie Lake, Quail Meadows and Rolling Oaks. (Highview Heights will not have a warming house this year, but lights will be on
from approximately 5-9 p.m. each night.)

Warming house hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 4-9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon-8 p.m.

Holidays/Lakeville school release days:

  • December 24 & 31: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • December 25: Closed
  • December 22, 23 & 27-30: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • January 3, 17 & 31: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • February 21: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

*Parkview Park will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on Jan. 21 and Feb. 11 and will only be open 4 p.m.-9 p.m. on Dec. 22 & 23 and Jan. 3 & 31

*Greenridge and Quail Meadows will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on Jan. 18 and will only be open 4 p.m.-9 p.m. on Dec. 22, Jan. 3 & 31

Snowmobile / Cross Country Ski Trails

For the most up-to-date information on trail conditions, visit the Snowshoes are available for rent from Lakeville City Hall.

Four sizes available: up to 150 lbs., 150-200 lbs., 200-250 lbs. and 200-300 lbs. Call 952-985-4600 to make reservations.

  • $3 per pair per day
  • 3-day minimum on weekends
  • $75 deposit per pair
  • Pick-up/return snowshoes to Lakeville City Hall
