2013 Road Construction Projects Move Forward in Maple Grove

The Maple Grove City Council recently approved plans for three street rehabilitation projects.

Shadow Creek, Cobblestone Hills and a portion of 89th Avenue are among the streets scheduled to have roadwork done during 2013.

After hearing resident questions at a March 4 public hearing, the Maple Grove City Council approved adopting several resolutions approving plans, adopting special assessments and authorizing advertisements for bids.

The street rehabilitation projects “consist of partial reconstruction, that is repair of existing concrete curb and gutter, minor storm sewer improvements and complete removal and replacement of bituminous surface,” according to documents provided to the Maple Grove City Council.
