My Preschooler and Me: Nature Explorers: Crickets & Grasshoppers

Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 10-11:30 a.m., at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, 10360 West River Road, Brooklyn Park. Explore the small creatures of the prairie with your child. Use magnifiers to look at insects up close, play grasshopper games, play in a cricket band, and decorate a bug jar to take home. Preschool Drop Off: Lil' Farmhands

Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista. Drop off your preschooler to dig right into the day-to-day life of the farm. Every day your child will lend a hand with farm chores and prepare a fresh snack. Program activities will focus on "The Farm's Bounty" for the first three weeks, and "The Harvest is Done, Now Comes the Fun!" for the second three weeks. Sign up for the whole series or each class individually.
