• Assault Charges Filed After Maple Grove Benihana Shooting (ccxmedia.org) — A man is facing second-degree assault charges after a shooting inside the Maple Grove Benihana on Fountains Way, where a patron was wounded but survived. Investigators tied a vehicle, crossbody bag, and online searches to the suspect, and also discovered several neglected dogs at his Brooklyn Park home. The defendant is out on bail and due back in court in January.
