Bluebird Boutique to Close in Maple Grove

Customers of Bluebird Boutique in Maple Grove will soon have to travel to the Edina location or look online for their purchases.

The shop, located at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove, will be closing its doors as of Oct. 31, 2012, according to store manager Carol Werness, who said the traffic was “not enough” to keep the Maple Grove location open.

Bluebird Boutique has been in Maple Grove for three years, according to the Ali Shops blog.

Werness said through Oct. 31, merchandise is about 50-70 percent off at the Maple Grove store, with all sales finals and no returns.

There has been “some interest” by other businesses to fill the upcoming vacant storefront, according to Jennie Zafft, Marketing Manager at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, but nothing has been signed yet.
