Bonfire by Snow Fort, Gas Leak: Maple Grove Fire Blotter
The Maple Grove Fire Department also helped with a water incident.

The following are incidents were responded to by the Maple Grove Fire Department from Feb. 4-10, 2013. Details provided by the fire department.
Feb. 4
- 6500 block of Berkshire Lane North. Carbon monoxide incident.

- 12200 block of Lakeview Drive North. Water problem. Arrived on scene, no signs, gained access through garage. Broken exterior faucet leaking through first floor kitchen wall into basement. Moved furniture, pulled items from walls and covered with plastic. Shut water main off. Pulled drywall tape from ceiling seams to allow water a way out. Turned house over to police and son on site.
Feb. 6
- 7600 block of Vinewood Court North. Gas leak. Arrived on scene, found a smell of gas on the exterior of the building. Called CenterPoint Energy, they found a fitting on the meter was loose, repaired and tightened the fitting. Found no sign of gas in the house.

- 8000 block of Kirkwood Lane North. Odor, smell of gas.
- Westbound I-94 west of Hemlock Lane. Steam, vapor, fog or dust thought to be smoke.
- 7700 block of Yucca Lane North. Prescribed fire. Report of kids building a snow fort and having a bonfire. Fire was within recreational fire guidelines.
There were also six malfunctioning or false alarm calls.
