Child Killed In Metro Transit Bus Crash In Brooklyn Center: Reports
The child was fatally struck by the Metro Transit bus early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
BROOKLYN PARK, MN — A child was killed after they were struck by a Metro Transit bus in Brooklyn Park early Wednesday.
The child was struck just before 6 a.m. on northbound County Road 81 near 71st Avenue, police told KARE 11. The child was given life-saving measures but ultimately died at the scene.
The child's age has not been confirmed.

The bus driver will undergo drug and alcohol testing and has been placed on administrative leave, per Metro Transit policy, Fox 9 reported.
