A public safety summary of service provided by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit the week Feb. 25 to March 3, 2013 for area communities

The following public safety summary of information from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit that includes highlights from Feb. 25 to March 3, 2013.
In addition to the law enforcement services it provides throughout the county, the HCSO provides primary patrol services for the communities of Hassan Township, Greenfield, Medicine Lake and Fort Snelling, as well as the Hennepin County portions of Hanover and Rockford. The report was provided by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Not all incidents are included in the summary.
Rockford
Feb. 27 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8000 block of Hwy 55 for a disturbance call. Deputies spoke with the resident and advised. No other action was needed.
Rogers
Feb. 25 - Deputies pulled a vehicle over in the area of Commerce Boulevard and 134 Avenue North, recognizing the driver as the registered owner, who was driving after cancelation inimical to public safety. The 48-year-old male driver was arrested, booked into the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility where he was released pending formal complaint. The reports were forwarded to the city attorney for formal charging.
Greenfield
March 1 - Deputies responded to an address in the 6300 block of 78 Lane North for a medical. North ambulance arrived and transported 60-year-old female hospital.
March 2 - Deputies responded to a business in the 7500 block of Highway 55 for a theft report. The clerk reports someone filled up their vehicle with gas and left without paying. Loss is estimated at $72.58. The employee was able to get the license plate of the vehicle. A Hennepin County Sheriff’s Detective is investigating the incident.
March 2 - Deputies responded to an address in the 8600 block of Grace Lane for a medical. An 8-year-old male was choking. The child was standing and breathing when deputies arrived. North ambulance arrived and transported him to Maple Grove Hospital.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office also issued 12 citations, responded to one alarm and one property damage incident.
