Gas Leak, Burnt Food: Maple Grove Fire Blotter

The Maple Grove Fire Department also responded to a water leak incident.

The following incidents were responded to by the Maple Grove Fire Department from May 21-26, 2013. Details and incident descriptions provided by the Maple Grove Fire Department.

May 21

  • 12500 block of 95th Avenue North. Burnt Food.

  • 86th Place North and Walnut Grove. Gas leak.
  • 9200 block of Zanzibar Lane North. Water or steam leak. Dry sprinkler system flooded for unknown reason causing fire alarm. Building had been evacuated when fire officer arrived. Alarm company and building maintenance investigating cause of water to flow into dry sprinkler system.

May 25

  • 12400 block of Elm Creek Boulevard. Breakdown of light ballast.

 There were also three incidents of false or malfunctioning alarms.
