Jersey Mike’s In Maple Grove To Donate To Special Olympics MN
Jersey Mike's Maple Grove shop will donate 100 percent of its sales March 30 to help send more than 100 athletes to the Special Olympics.
MAPLE GROVE, MN — Jersey Mike's locations throughout Minnesota, including one in Maple Grove, are set to donate 100 percent of their March 30 sales to support Special Olympics Minnesota.
More than 400 people from around the Maple Grove area teamed up in February to raise $128,098 with a Polar Plunge at Fish Lake. That means the Maple Grove Polar Plunge has raised more than $2 million for the organization across 15 years.

Jersey Mike's Maple Grove shop, at 16375 County Road 30, is set to donate its sales next week to send help more than 100 Minnesota athletes to compete in the Special Olympics in Florida this summer.
All of Jersey Mike’s locations are set to donate their March 30 sales to Special Olympics, according to the sandwich-shop chain.

This is the first year that the chain is donating all of its proceeds to a single cause or organization. The company said it hopes to raise more than $15 million to break last year’s record.

Jersey Mike's "Day of Giving" on March 30 is part of the company's "Month of Giving," which started in 2011. The company said it has raised more than $47 million for local charities since then.
