Update: Kitchen Fire Temporarily Closes Granite City Food & Brewery in Maple Grove

No one was injured in the fire. The restaurant remained closed for the remainder of Sunday, March 3 and into March 4.

Accorrding to Granite City Marketing Coordinator Jeannie Marie Farley, Granite City in Maple Grove remains closed due to the Sunday fire, although they hope to open for dinner. No damage estimates have yet been received.

March 3, 2013 - A kitchen fire at Granite City Food & Brewery in Maple Grove Sunday morning resulted in a temporarily closure for the restaurant. 

No one was injured in the fire, according to Maple Grove Fire Chief Scott Anderson. The cause has not yet been determined.

Granite City Food & Brewery remains closed for the reminder of the day on Sunday, March 3, according to Granite City Marketing Coordinator Jeannie Marie Farley told Patch. 

“We will re-open after we determine the cause and are given the OK from the Fire Department and Health Inspectors (standard procedure),” Farley wrote in an email to Patch. 

Farley estimates the restaurant will reopen Monday. 

The incident remains under investigation by the Maple Grove Fire Department.
