Man Killed Laying On Highway 169 In Champlin
The man — identified as 41-year-old Gregory Mark Bowles, of Minneapolis — was transported to North Memorial Hospital, where he died.

CHAMPLIN, MN — A man was killed Friday night while laying in the middle of Highway 169 in Champlin.
On Friday at about 11:20 p.m., a Kia Sorento was traveling northbound near Dayton Road at the bridge when it struck a male pedestrian who was laying in the lane, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The man — identified as 41-year-old Gregory Mark Bowles, of Minneapolis — was transported to North Memorial Hospital, where he died.

The 36-year-old Anoka woman driving the Kia was not injured, authorities said.
