Maple Grove Crash Kills Isle Man: State Patrol
Snow and ice were factors in a fatal crash Tuesday on Highway 610 near Elm Creek Boulevard, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
MAPLE GROVE, MN — A 52-year-old man from Isle was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in Maple Grove, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Edward Beehler was driving his pickup truck east on Highway 610 near Elm Creek Boulevard around 7:10 a.m. Tuesday when the vehicle left the road and rolled over in the median, police said. Snow and ice were factors in the fatal crash, according to police.

The crash was one of 405 crashes reported to the Minnesota State Patrol on Tuesday as snow fell throughout much of the state, though it was the only fatal crash.
Three dozen people were injured in crashes Tuesday, while at least 80 crashes involved vehicles leaving the road, with snow and ice playing a role in many, according to police.
