For a month, just about, you've been looking.
Find a park where no fish you'll be hooking.
You’ll find tennis courts,

Here is the third clue for 2013, released June 19.
Clue #3
Surely you know Maple Grove lists 49 Parks.
And that they cover over 1,150 acres.
But do you know how many…
Baseball / Ball fields …? 64
Sets of Play Equipment …? 48
Tennis Courts …? 45
Basketball Courts …? 32
Ice Rinks …? 29
And how many Maple Grove Days Medallions (with a $500 reward, sponsored by The Lookout (if you have purchased a Maple Grove Days button from a Maple Grove Ambassador Candidate))…?
One.
Just one.
Here is the second clue for 2013, released June 12.
Clue #2
And now we will narrow the choices.
Your hunt must be during the day.
You likely will hear children’s voices,
Raised in fun, as they run and they play.
Is it baseball the kids are now playing?
Maybe soccer’s no longer a fad?
“Our team’s going to win,” Mom is saying,
For there by the fields is Coach Dad.
But away from ballfields there’s quiet,
You could sit on a bench in the sun,
Or in shade. Have a picnic. Just try it.
Maple Grove Parks are family fun.
Here is the first clue for 2013, released June 5.
Clue #1
By now it’s a tradition, lots of family fun.
And on top of that, there’s a prize to be won.
In a city park is hidden a brass maple leaf.
Follow these simple rules (I’ll try to be brief).
No hunting at night - observe the park hours.
You won’t have to dig, so don’t bother the flowers.
You won’t have to climb, or take things apart.
Not much more to tell you before you can start,
But this you should know, that before you can win,
See an Ambassador candidate for a Maple Grove Days pin.
Clues for the medallion hunt will be published each Thursday in the Osseo-Maple Grove Press beginning June 6, as well as on the Maple Grove Days website on Wednesdays at www.maplegrovedays.org and www.MapleGrove.Patch.com
These clues will be updated each week through July 10 or until the medallion is found. For daily updates on whether or not the medallion has been found, searchers can call 763-494-5956.
