Maple Grove Farmers Market Opens for 10th Season June 13

The Maple Grove Farmers Market will open for its tenth season outdoors on Thursday, June 13, 3-7 p.m. at Maple Grove Community Center, featuring 40-plus vendors offering a wide variety of vendor-grown, vendor-made agricultural products.

The outdoor market season, runs every Thursday June 13 until Oct. 24, 2013.

• Some of the highlights include:

• Fresh produce from more than 40 vendors

• Live music (through September)

• Free weekly recipes featuring seasonal products

• Family storytime (4:30 p.m. June through August)

• Chef demonstrations (third Thursday of each month)

• Special events

• Master gardeners (second and fourth Thursday of each month)

• Ready to eat snacks and treats

The Maple Grove Community Center is located at 12951 Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove.

Parking is free and no pets are allowed.
