Maple Grove Hospital Completes Expansion

Maple Grove Hospital recently completed its first major expansion and opens its fourth floor to patients and families.

This new floor adds 46 additional patient rooms for medical and surgical patients bringing the total number of beds at Maple Grove Hospital to 130. This new space helps to expand orthopedic and spine services including inpatient rehabilitation.

Additional renovations at Maple Grove Hospital this year include two new operating suites to help support the growing surgical patient population in the community, as well as renovations to the Family Birth Center and Emergency Care Center. The Family Birth Center added four new labor and delivery suites for a total of 10 private suites. The newborn and special care nurseries doubled their capacity from 18 to 36 beds. The Emergency Care Center added two new examine rooms to meet patients’ needs and maintain low wait times.
