MAPLE GROVE, MN — Maple Grove and Osseo Area Schools officials are teaming up with other local organizations to host the 9th annual Community Forum on Race next week.

The online event — subtitled “The children are our future: How are the children doing?” — will feature a panel of students from fifth grade to college freshmen who will lead a discussion on the impacts of race and racism in the region.

The event will also have breakout rooms for small-group conversations where participants “can share their own stories,” organizers said.
