Maple Grove Imposes New Water Restrictions Amid Drought

The new restrictions apply to all city water customers, Maple Grove officials said.​

MAPLE GROVE, MN — The city of Maple Grove is imposing new water restrictions as severe drought conditions continue across the state.

As of Tuesday, and effective until further notice, outdoor lawn watering is prohibited in Maple Grove from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

During other times, residents must follow the odd-even schedule:

  • Residents who live at addresses ending in odd numbers must water odd-numbered calendar days
  • Residents at even number homes must water on even-numbered days

These restrictions apply to all city water customers, officials said.
