Maple Grove Moms Club Gives Back
The group for stay-at-home mothers in the Maple Grove area collected items to be donated to help victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
In an effort to give back to the community, members of the MOMS Club – Weaver Lake gathered and donated supplies for the Alexandra House at their October meeting.
“It’s a great community organization and a great way for a women’s group to help women and children,” said Amy Pahl, the coordinator of the donation drive for the MOMS Club. “It’s an easy, simple thing for us to do and help.”
The Alexandra House, located in Blaine, provides services to victims of domestic and sexual violence including a 24-hour crisis hotline (763-780-2330), an emergency shelter, legal advocacy, violence prevention programs and more.
