MAPLE GROVE, MN — The city of Maple Grove and the rest of Hennepin County are currently under a winter weather watch, which is set to last through at least Thursday afternoon.

"Snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches are possible overnight tonight into Thursday, with the highest amounts expected north and east of the Twin Cities," the National Weather Service said.

"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute."

Maple Grove is expected to get between 5 and 8 inches of snow when all is said and done this week.
