MAPLE GROVE, MN — Minnesota transportation officials on Friday marked the imminent end of a two-year construction project on I-94 between Maple Grove and Rogers.

Traffic is now flowing in three lanes in each direction, with a fourth soon to open along that portion of the interstate, the Star Tribune reports.

That 11-mile stretch remains a work zone, as crews still have to complete some tasks, meaning the speed limit will stay at 60 through the end of November, the report states.
