National Pancake Day at IHOP to Benefit Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare

Guests can receive a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes at the Maple Grove IHOP location 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 in exchange for a voluntary contribution to benefit Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

IHOP restaurant in Maple Grove, along with those around the Twin Cities, will be hosting “National Pancake Day” to help Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.

Customers can receive a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 in exchange for a voluntary contribution that will benefit Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, according to an Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare press release.

“Guests are invited to contribute at least what they would have paid for the pancakes, or $5. IHOP restaurants are celebrating Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ 30th anniversary during National Pancake Day,” according to the release.

IHOP hopes to raise $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities during the 2013 event.

Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare is an not-for-profit hospital located in St. Paul, with a clinic in Maple Grove.
