Robert L. Boersma
(June 20, 1940 - November 10, 2012)

Boersma, Robert L., age 72 of Maple Grove. Passed away Nov. 10, 2012. After a 26 year battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis, he is pain free.

Preceded in death by parents, Peter & Judith; sisters, LaVonne & LeeAnn. Bob was a dedicated 37 year employee at Metal-Matic. He was a lover of war history, gardening/lawn work, and 60’s cars. He also enjoyed distance running/biking (during 1960-1980), working in his garage, and was a grilling aficionado. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & brother.

Survived by wife of 52 years, Francine; daughters, Michele (Mark), Angela (Keith); grandchildren, Abel & Renna; step-granddaughter, Lauren; sisters, Carol, Betty, Marlys; brother, Donald; brothers-in-law & sister-in-law; nieces & nephews; & other family & friends.

Visitation 5-7 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 13, 2012 at Evans Nordby Funeral Home, 34 Second Street N.E., Osseo. Funeral Service 1 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to North Memorial Hospice.
