Opinion: Letter to the Editor Supporting Collette Guyott-Hempel

I am writing in support of Collette Guyott-Hempel, who is running for a position on the Osseo School Board.  

I have worked with Collette over multiple years, and I can tell you she is an informed and dedicated worker. She is good with kids and she knows what works in our schools. She will work to implement policies that will make our schools places of academic excellence for all.  

Collette supports reasonable class sizes so our kids have a better chance to learn what's required of them. She is a long-time resident of Osseo, and of course she supports the dedicated proposed levies. She believes lower class sizes will help close the existing achievement gap. Collette thinks that we should support our schools to the point where all students can achieve. Her ability to analyze systems will help insure cost effective reforms and she will make our schools more efficient too.  

I ask that you vote Collette Guyott-Hempel for Osseo School Board. She is a logical, good choice, and one we won't regret.
