U.S. Army 1st Lt. Brian Campbell of Maple Grove waits for other members of his company near Forward Operating Base Torkham on Jan. 12 following a key leader engagement between the Company C. commander and the commander of 5th Kandak, Afghan Border Police. 

Campbell serves as the fire support officer with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment. 2nd Battalion is part of 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Task Force Patriot.
