Read: Maple Grove Lions 50 Years of Service Recognition Proclamation

March 2013 is proclaimed as Maple Grove Lions month at the Feb. 19 Maple Grove City Council meeting.

"The Maple Grove Mayor Mark Steffenson, the City Council and city staff would like to thank and recognize the Maple Grove Lions for their 50 years of support, donations and dedication to our community," Maple Grove City Manager Al Madsen wrote in a memo to the City Council. "Their contributions are immeasurable and will have a positive impact and influence for many years to come."
