"As pretty as the snow is on trees, it's causing issues," the NWS said Friday. "The heavy nature of this snow has led to reports of downed trees/limbs & power outages. There will likely be more reports as winds pick up tonight. Take preventative measures now to avoid a headache later."
Looking ahead to the week before Christmas, Minnesotans can expect extremely cold arctic air to take hold of the region.
