Snowstorm Will Hit Northwest Twin Cities Metro: MN Weather
"Light snow is likely late snow through Friday," the National Weather Service said.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Maple Grove and other towns in the northwest parts of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area are in line for some snow this weekend, according to the latest forecast.
"Light snow is likely late snow through Friday," the National Weather Service said, noting that the best chances for accumulating snow are in western Minnesota.
The south metro could see some flurries, but there is only a small chance that any snow will accumulate, according to the NWS.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 51. Southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 66. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 57. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
