Speeding Car Crashed Into School Bus During Drop Off: Sheriff's Office
A school bus with children aboard was rear-ended Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
ANOKA COUNTY, MN — Police are investigating after a school bus was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon in the north Twin Cities metro.
No children or adults on the bus were injured in the crash, but a man in another vehicle was hospitalized.
Just before 4 p.m., authorities responded to the 19800 block of Viking Boulevard Northeast in Linwood Township on a report of a crash.

The sheriff's office said a school bus was traveling westbound on Viking Boulevard when it stopped to let children off the bus. During the drop-off, the bus was rear-ended by a sedan, authorities said.
The driver of the sedan had to be extricated from his vehicle and transported to a local hospital. He is in stable condition, authorities said. Authorities cited the sedan driver for speeding.
