MAPLE GROVE, MN — A 30-year-old man who was jailed last week in connection with a fatal shooting April 17 in Maple Grove was released from custody, according to police.
The man, who police did not publicly identify because he has not been charged, is still considered to be a suspect in the fatal shooting, Maple Grove Police Commander Jon Wetternach confirmed to Patch.
He was released from jail because “further investigation was requested before a charging decision is made,” Wetternach said.
